OVERVIEW Custom die-cast aluminum mounting box / installation enclosure for the same medical vision-testing platform as the Slide Base component. This structural housing provides secure mounting points, internal cable routing space, and a stable base for optical or electronic sub-assemblies. Manufactured via High-Pressure Die Casting (HPDC), followed by multi-face CNC machining and medical-grade spray painting for a clean, durable, clinic-ready appearance. Multi-face CNC setups are used to maintain positional tolerances across opposite and adjacent faces. Spray painting is preceded by full pretreatment (degreasing, chromating/phosphating, primer) to ensure long-term coating adhesion on aluminum. Film thickness, gloss, and cross-cut adhesion are verified per medical-device cosmetic standards. QUALITY ASSURANCE • CMM inspection of critical mounting-hole patterns, flatness, and mating-face dimensions • Thread gauge check on tapped holes; position tolerance verification • Cross-cut adhesion test, film-thickness measurement, and gloss check on painted surfaces • Visual inspection under controlled lighting for coating defects and cosmetic flaws • Material certificate, COC, and FAIR supplied with each shipment
