These parts combine a rigid substrate (typically POM, PA, or brass insert) with a soft-touch silicone layer, providing waterproof sealing, anti-slip grip, smooth rotation, and long-term durability in wet environments. Material & Performance Silicone: Wacker ELASTOSIL® series, 30–60 Shore A Substrate options: POM, PA66, Brass, Stainless Steel Bond strength: ≥ 1.2 N/mm (peel test) Temperature range: -40°C to +180°C Waterproof rating: IP67 equivalent (with proper design) Manufacturing Process Insert molding / transfer molding with automatic rubber injection Secondary overmolding onto pre-machined plastic or metal inserts Post-cure treatment for optimal mechanical properties 100% visual inspection + functional torque/leak test Customization Options Color matching (any Pantone) Surface texture: matte, glossy, fine grain Hardness tuning per application (soft grip vs firm seal) Insert material and geometry tailored to your assembly Quality Assurance ISO 9001 certified facility In-process SPC control for bond strength and dimension FAIR (First Article Inspection Report) included with first order DFM review provided within 24 hours of receiving 3D file
